11-12, 2010 – We begin our year with a full weekend of
Ordeal inductions, Brotherhood counseling and
ceremonies, and Lodge officer elections. We have an Ordeal
class of 142 available to be inducted this year and
expect around 100 of them to come this weekend. We will need
at least 10-12 Elangomats to assist in the Ordeal.

If you were inducted into the Order at least
ten months ago, you are eligible to seal your membership in
the Order through the
Brotherhood Ceremony this weekend. The necessary forms are
on included. You must sign up
and let us know you are coming because we are expecting a
large crowd and we must prepare in order to provide
a great experience for all. So, make plans to attend.

A
special area of the national OA web site has been created
to help new members of the Order of the Arrow learn about
the OA. The "Jumpstart for New Arrowmen" area provides an
introduction to the Order and its programs, and assists
new members in sealing their membership in Brotherhood.
